JOHN CAGE YUVAL SHARON

Colin is thrilled to be returning to the Los Angeles Philharmonic for one of the most unique and interesting productions he’s ever been involved in. Colin will be singing in John Cage’s Europeras which marries the European operatic tradition with the I Ching and Hollywood.

Each singer involved will sing standard repertoire from the European operatic canon simultaneously while the orchestra plays their own music that is separate from what the singers will be doing. In addition all the singers will be costumed in well known pieces from Hollywood films such as Fight Club, Nosferatu, and 300. Finally the vast majority of actions and organization has been determined randomly! If you have any interest in provocative thought provoking theater this is a once in a lifetime experience to attend.
