Handel’s Messiah features several of the best arias for Bass voice in all of concert repertoire. The arias demand agility, strength and thoughtful phrasing. The Trumpet Shall Sound is notably one of the most demanding arias for any low voice and its clarion top notes a challenge for even the most seasoned singer.
