Silent Night is one of the most affecting and compelling operas written in the 21st century. Since its premiere at Minnesota Opera I've followed its success, always hoping that at some point I would have the chance to do the piece.
I'm so grateful that Opera San Jose has brought me in to sing the role of Father Palmer. This will be my second 'Scottish Priest' of the season, though he has a very different story than Donizetti's Raimondo.
This universally acclaimed opera is also the winner of a Pulitzer Prize and will be making its West Coast Debut in San Jose.
