Santa Barbara's favorite bass returns to the company to open the 2023-34 season with Bizet’s Carmen. He will be making an anticipated role debut as the bullfighter, Escamillo. The production features many past collaborators including Anya Matanovic as Michaela, and Nathan Granner as Don Jose. His good friend Kostis Protopappas conducts.
